Barbara is a Freelance graphic artist, illustrator & painter. Her paintings &
drawings are in private collections and have won many awards.
Barbara works mainly with pastels, but also uses graphite & watercolor,
creating portraits of animals & landscapes; (hoping to someday illustrate a childrens book).
When working on her MAC, she creates brochures, promotional material and many other print pieces
(she has done graphic work for the LIRR & more recently for the Art League of Nassau Cty.).

Taking photographs is a big part of my artistic process. I take lots of photos for reference.
I use a digital Canon, with a 18-200mm lense, a bit heavy, but it does a great job.
